OK I know its not technically a firewall but you know what I mean. Haven’t been able to find a replacement grommet. Winter is around the corner, what are people using instead? Picture taken from inside:

VW sells it, used on various VW/Audi cars for various purposes.

Or you could get a new speedo cable with the upper grommet on it.

Dum Dum
AKA 3M strip caulk

https://www.amazon.com/Install-Bay-3MSTC-Caulk-Str...trip+caulk

A box will last you several life times!

A good parts house or shop will sell or give you a few strips.

Clean that area well and then pack the caulk around the grommet, a soft flexible repair that will last a generation or two.

Thanks, I'll go to the dealer. I did put on a new speedometer cable made in Brazil some years ago but it was made so badly the grommet is falling apart. And the snap-on clip broke the minute I installed it!

If you have a Harbor Freight locally, they sell a cheap, big box of grommets that probably has the one you need. I've used several of them on the van, the one inch fitting well for the A/C condensation tubes.
