I want to use one of the lighter AG-111 colors on the nether-regions of my Ghia to make working under the car easier on my eyes. I am leaning towards MS silver with AG-111 clear, grey, or beige as a top coat. If you have pictures available with these finishes in place please post them tot he thread for reference. An on-line color reference will work as well.

Thanks,
Emil

I was of the same opinion. It's dark enough under the car without looking at black on black. I used MS AG-111 Grey on my pan and fenderwells.

Same color for me. If you call Chuck he will send you a small paint sample.

I know this is old...but...

I am debating doing this same thing on mine with the silver and was wondering if y’all just painted it on with a brush or was this sprayed? Looks really clean!

I used foam brushes, although it can be sprayed. It's self-leveling so that's why it looks so good without the brush strokes.

Oh ok, that’s where I was getting thrown off. It looks like it was sprayed and I searched for some sort of “how to apply” but couldn’t find it.

Foam brushes sounds like a good idea, thanks!

So I ordered 2 cans of satin black to do my chassis and I believe it to be glossy. I thought it would cure in satin Once it was dry but it still looks the same. So glossy that I can see my reflection in the paint. Most satin/semi gloss doesn’t do that.

It may not be satin, but it looks great to me. I wouldn't complain lol.
