the engines may of been left overs from thier lawn mowers and just look at sears now. what a joke.they need to partner with, jcpennies&dillardos&kramart in 1 store location.and get somebody that knows how to price things and they will survive. if i can order 2 shop vac filters for half of what sears wants for 1 and get it delevered to my home in 3 days..something is bad rong.(and it aint my spellen) |

I thought that too, someone should repop the carrier I think it would sell. |

My Bug had one of those Sears basic engines somewhere around that same time. It was a leaky, smokey, valve burning disaster. It was probably because of that failed motor that it sat dead in the back yard long enough for it to become available for me when I finally got my license to drive. Although it did mean I had to bring it back to life which sent me down this less traveled road. |
