No, it's definitely not original but I think it looks pretty cool:
It started out as an enameled stick-pin someone sells on eBay for $10 postpaid. I broke off the pin from the back (very simple solder joint), smoothed the back with a file, stuck some adhesive magnet material on it, and trimmed it with an exacto knife. Obviously the magnet makes for a simple installation anywhere on the dash.
I'd like to have an original but I'm not willing to drill my dash to mount one. This is simpler and pretty unobtrusive.
