I have two 181s I am looking to sell. I'm not going to get to these projects anytime soon, so they need to go to someone else. I'm located in MN on the north shore of Lake Superior.
I'm having an issue pricing the Acapulco. I've looked at fakes and real ones, but still, I seem to see the prices all over the board.
I'm posting here for some guidance, also to give you all first dibs before I put them on EBay.
I have titles in my name for both Things. They have current plates with them.
The '74 Acapulco has some rust but is very restorable. It has one patch in the pan on the drivers side. Rockers have been patched with diamond plate. There is some filler. The engine turns and will fire a few times when gas it sprayed down the carb.
The '73 has the hardtop and gas heater. It is rusty and has a lot of patches. It turns over but doesn't fire.
I have a spare gas heater, hood and windshield, rims, side windows, dash pad, wiring harnesses, weather stripping and other misc odds and ends.
I'm not exactly looking to part out. I would sell them together or separate.
I would appreciate it if you all let me know you're thoughts.
Cass

The "Acapulco" is so far from being an accurate representation of a correct Acapulco that it's not going to be able to command a premium price over any other Thing in similar condition. |

Other than the white top, striped seats, and blue color, I'm not sure there is anything to point to it being a real Acapulco? |
