Barndoor - straight axle - hand brake cable

Hey everyone,

I have a 52 Barndoor with a long axle T-1 transmission. Looking for hand brake cable that could be used without too much mods. The actual handle in the front is an incorrect beetle style.

What do you mean incorrect beetle style handle? Early buses used beetle handbrake handles:

The hand brake on the left was used from ch. number 20-00723 until
ch. number 20-041711.
The right one was used from
ch. number 20-041712 until
ch. number 20-0614455

I used the original cables on my 52 with a straight axle kit

Hey Scotty,

Thanks for the reply. What I mean is the hand brake handle is from a 60's T-1 beetle. I will try and find an original handle and go from there.

If you want I have a 50-52 NOS handle in my classifieds, as well as 53-55 NOS hand brake cables (which are 59mm shorter than the 50-52 version)
