I was a bit conflated before, getting the tunnels and the heater channels mixed up. Perhaps I just went to focus on dealing with the biggest structural component of the car. In any case, I'm now concerned about the heater channels, I've heard they need redoing every 5 years, (its in the link)

I'm wondering what's the best replacement? I've heard that there are stainless steel tube ones/tubeless.


To prevent a Baja bug from rusting apart, what could be done with the heater channels? Sorry if its getting to sound redundant. I stop, just so excited!

IF you need need a heater channel chassis, you will need to build it... But for the rest of us.... We work with what we have....
