Does anyone know what the brand and description is of this antenna I saw on this 1966 Beetle in the VW Automuseum in Wolfsburg?
It is similar in concept to the red tip Hirschmann window mounted antenna, but this is much better, as it clips on the vertical rain gutter, and has a thin flat ribbon coaxial cable (difficult to see in the images) which neatly sneaks behind the door and into the side of the dashboard. The tip on the end of the antenna was a bluish shade.
My 65 Beetle has never had a hole drilled for an antenna, and this would be ideal as I don't want to drill if I can help it. Thanks:
