|
|
I have a spatz body buggy with a 1970 VW Bug fuel tank. Filler was relocated to center of tank and sending unit is in original location. Gauge works fine when sending unit is out of the tank. When the sending unit is in the tank the needle barely moves off empty. The tank is mounted at same angle as hood which slopes toward front of car. Does anyone have dune buggy with tank mounted at slight angle and the stock sending unit works? |

If you haven't done do already, run a wire from one of the sending unit mounting screws to a metal ground. Sender may not work due to poor or nonexistent grounding. |
