Does anyone know how much a stock hardtop weighs? I can't find the info anywhere and am unable to weigh mine easily. |

it weighs at least 75 lbs, if your planning on shipping it
dimensionally weighed by size
the weight is over 200 lbs
Ive shipped more than 5 hardtops so i can even help you figure out how to do that _________________ Michael Basso

My wife and I lifted ours very easily, I would agree that the weight is around 75#.

The glass was pulled so that we could tie it on, but I would say 75 pounds with the glass is about what it weights. Lifting it onto the Thing to install it with the glass in place was a non issue. |

Thanks a bunch for the info, I'm trying to get the guy shipped to a buyer from here on samba. It's going from NM to AR. I've made the pallet, which weighs 100 lbs, but can't figure it how to weight the top. Plus, I've already banded it to the pallet and will wrap it soon.
So, is there any key advice on shipping it? The buyer is handling that but I'm sure he'd appreciate any info.

If you measure it
Dimensionally weight speaking
the actual weight won't matter _________________ Michael Basso

I've rigged up an electric hoist (Harbor Fright) to yank the top off and store it the garage. As a result, I weighed it with a big scale: 130 lbs w/glass.
Hope that helps.....
