Anyone have this info available as far as lining up the pans for this kit? My pans are arriving Friday and I'd like to get started on welding them in but I'm no where near ordering the Manx 2+2 kit yet. I emailed Meyers a couple of times but have yet to receive a response. _________________ -Jared

John, I would call them if I were you, these companies can be flooded with emails but will more than likely answer the phone. |

If you mean a Manxter 2+2 then it uses a stock length chassis so there's nothing to line up really, just weld the new floors in in place of the old ones. The shell doesn't come drilled, you've got to drill the mounting holes yourself so there is some wiggle-room. |

Thanks David. I was really wondering if there was a specific width so the fiberglass sits on the pans correctly. _________________ -Jared

The new pans should just fit in place of the old ones as a straight replacement. Quality parts shouldn't need any trimming, their dimensions should be identical. |

The fiberglass bodies are not necessarily perfect to the original pan dimensions, it may take a little caressing to get the fiberglass body lined up to the metal pan. be patient. |
