While I liked the idea of the body lift, I'm starting to see why they are not popular. It's too late to turn back now.

I have a 64 pan/parts with my Manx.
What are the options for the steering column?
I saw some references to where people bought another top column bearing and put it in the bottom of the column, then added a Super Beetle u joint steering shaft. and braced the column to the pan.
Those shafts are $100 new Sad
I see other mentions of a Kia shaft, but it's too vague for me to dig up more information on.

Help!

I've heard Rabbit steering joint U-joints can be used and they are easier to find in junkyards now than Super Beetle
