Are the fuzzy scrapers intended to be longer than the rail they are installed in? If so, which direction should the extra length be oriented? Toward front of car or the rear?
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Is the rail intended to be installed first and then the fuzzy scraper worked into the channel so the screws are covered up, or are the screws installed through the scraper?

Any sealer used when installing the rail?
Thanks,

the rail is longer for the 73-76 cars and shorter for the 70-72 cars as the rear window end cap changed to accommodate the felt window guides in 73 after the 1000th car was built Therefore the fuzzy is cut to length to fit the appropriate aluminum holder

Thank you, Dr.
and, the screws go through the fuzzy?
How does the rubber scraper get cut to fit properly?

the three screws go through the fuzzy and into the upper door shell. The squeegee inchworms in and left at current length. Will shrink to proper size
