The current owner is a friend of mine.in fact when he restored the car he needed a driver's door that I had. He never did get to do the trip in 2017. The world is a lot more complicated these day to undertake such a trip. The car does continue on in its adventures as part of the 36hp Challenge landspeed racing at Bonneville. And Manu has used the challenge and the car to raise a great deal of money for the Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto.
