Hi there, I just picked up this project bus, to try to get back on the road. I'm not all too familiar with the older campers, as I have an 84 Westy. I've attached a few pics. There is what looks to be a cover labeled "Cable Hatch" low down on the driver's side of the bus.
Please let me know if you recognize the build! I searched through the sticky's, looking at all the camper brochure's, and none of them looked exactly like this.
Thanks!

Woooo... Solid!
The bed looks like Adventurewagen, the rest has a home crafted vibe going on, any plate on the RF fender? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Nice find!
It's a shame somebody chopped out the rear arches but otherwise looks like an easy project.
The roof looks to be Safare or adventurewagen _________________ I like caves..

I didn’t immediately see anything inside the drivers door, then again I wasn’t looking hard for one at the time. It was my first time seeing it, so I was all over the place. I appreciate the input so far! |

Most commercially converted campers sold in California and most western states have a plate riveted to the RF fender, a home brew from junkyard find parts may not.
Regardless of it's origin it looks nice and functional. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
