Hello guys,
I am converting my bus with a 2.4 V6 a6 engine.
Fitted the motor and now sitting.
Now i need to do the wiring with bit of electrical ideas.
Would guys kindly assist me on the wiring issue, the Audi A6 has got too many wires managed to pull out the complete loom.
Now not sure of which wires to eliminate and what to use.

Hello, welcome to the Samba. I have read a lot of threads and have not come across one detailing how to wire your engine into a vanagon. You might have better luck searching the Audi forums.

For my flybywire TDI, I used the vanagon and new beetle factory manuals and slowly figured it out. Yours is bound to be more complicated than that. On the TDI club website there is a forum dedicated to TDI engine conversions. Perhaps there is an Audi forum with the same type of forum.

The other option would be to convert to a conventional throttle body and use an aftermarket engine management solution to get it up an running. Would be nice if you posted a picture of your install.

Is this an AAH twelve valve engine? If so it should still be cable throttle, and probably either a 2.6 or 2.8 liter engine. It will require the South African five cylinder bellhousing and a custom engine mounting crossbar. I'm not sure if the wiring is documented anywhere online.

Here's a good basic site for engine info: http://12v.org/
