Weather sunny and in 30s in Indy today. Took the the '65 bug out and about to really test the big bore heater boxes-no fins. i was impressed. They seemed to put out a good amount of heat. Wonder what they would do in the teens?

Took my '65 out today too. Sunny and 85 degrees. Sometimes it's nice to live in SoCal Laughing

Good for both of you. I still have the top down on my '71 Convertible, will be like 89 °F here in Phoenix on Thanksgiving.

I drove my Super quite a few years back to a New Years Eve party when it was 18 on the way home with Bugpacks 1 1/2 heater boxes/36 hp shroud. They kept the windows clear, but maybe only got the interior temps into the high 40's in a 20 minute low rpm drive. How high of an interior temp a stock set of heater boxes with a stock shroud/thermostat would have gotten to at 18 degrees, I don't know. I was working on a 70 Bus I put a dh shroud on, and wanted to check the function of the stock heaterboxes/levers. It was only in the low 60's early in the Summer, but I actually started sweating in less than 5 miles.

Cusser, we'll be thinkin bout you when it's 80 degrees in early July in Indy, and Pittsburgh, and 115 in Phoenix. Wink
