Engine lid church key position

I am converting a newer engine lid to a church key latch.
Can someone confirm the hole is about 10mm to the left of center?

In the photo the center of the apron is marked and the latch hole is 10mm to the left. Just seems odd they would do that. Could be the bracket is not correct on the apron.

Just checked mine... yep, center of hole is 10mm to the left. That would drive a person with OCD nuts... Laughing

I see why it was offset now. They needed to avoid the crank hole.
