I bought a 1984 Westfalia with a Subarau conversion (Impreza engine, 65k miles), and all i can say is, I LOVE THIS THING. Never have I felt this way about a vehicle. My wife and kids love it too.

Also coming from a music background, I had an idea to film musicians in the van. I asked a few film maker friends what they thought, and well, here's our first go at it.

It's a fun creative endeavor, and will add some more history to this van.

Anyway, thought I'd share with the van community, and looking forward to spending some time on here.

That's cool! Keep them coming. Good song and I like the sound of the raindrops hitting the roof of the van.

The question needs to be asked:

How many musicians can you fit into your Westy? Laughing

Thanks for the warm welcome, all!
There are more scheduled in the coming weeks/months, I'm already shocked at some of the caliber of musicians touring through Portland we have booked to play in this thing! Fun stuff. No full bands in the van yet, but I'd like to see that happen and sure we will at some point.

Here's a few photos on my instagram of the van (there's like 5, use scroll arrows) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bap7H1OlMlR/?taken-by=reboryan

cheers!

Ha! At Darrington a few years ago during the monsoon on Saturday night we had a four piece bluegrass band in Dixie: guitar, mandolin, banjo and double bass. Cool Weird not being able to see the bass player's face when singing with her but good clean fun. Very Happy

You can fit more than just a whole band, you can fit a sound stage.
