Seems you car got a a new paint work. Anything else you restored on this car?

Hi,

Paint was the only change, it was in good shape but needed a few engine seals and good old polishing. I painted the rims, thats about it.

Here is sled´s car in Finland when found in 2007 from a used car lot, cost only about 4 K in this condition but things have changed since. Hesa updated the car and drove it for 9 years, some of those in Belgium and sold it in 2016 to a Finnish flipper who told him he would keep it but instead immediately sold it to BBT for double what he paid Hesa. I saw this car in person in 2011, nice car and now has a good home.

Originally delivered to Oy Autola Ab in Helsinki on 24.11.1951 and according to the Autola records the first owner was Mr. Palmroth.

Now the car is obviously updated:

I call him Old Man Maynard. I’ve had him for a few years, got him before my Chestnut brown car. He needs some welding, someone cut out the rear window bar.

i owned this car twice.about 7 or 8 years ago it went to canada. it was in hot vws a few issues ago. seems it's back in cali.
