Long time lurker, first time poster
Wasn't sure where to put this but thought this was the best place.
I've just found a pair of Weber 35IDM's, can't find too much info on them but originally bought them to replace some baby dells on my '72 1600 bus, i'd no idea how rare they where when I bought them, a nice surprise though!!! Can't really see them going on my bus now, but it would be good to try them out for a while if possible.
The guy i'd bought them off said he had them on his 1600 beetle, but thinks the manifolds got sold with the engine and these were left at the back of his shed which he cleared out at the weekend.

I broke down one of the carbs today to find out what they had inside and what they would be suitable for
They have 31mm venturi's, F16 tubes with 185 air and 140 mains, but they have been modified so could be anything (pictures below), the idles are 40F9, there is also another jet taking air out of hole in the side of the stack which has 50 on it.
I've not got a big knowledge of carbs, any thought on what they would be good for?
