Picked this car up in the summer, haven't had time to do much with it but that's about to change. I have 6 months to get this thing patched, painted and drivable.
It has the OG Arctic White paint, 6v system, and all matching numbers.

The plan:
1. Lift body from chassis
2. Replace pan halves
3. Repair heater channels (If I have to)
4. Body work
5. Paint Arctic White
6. Reassemble
Bought an EV motor... May convert to electric down the line |

Congrats on the find, it appears to be a pretty good base to start with. I always love to see another '60 euro getting fixed up and back on the road, looking forward to updates. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

Well my plan is to make this a primary driver, If I were to put my time into rebuild the 36HP engine, that'll cost at least $2k locally. That'll bring me up to 1960's reliability...
Converting it to electric will cost me roughly twice as much but will bring me up to 2017 reliability.
Don't worry though, nothing I'm doing is irreversable! No cutting and I'll hold onto the engine! |
