Can someone suggest an adhesive that might work well for attaching new gutter trim to a freshly painted tintop ?

I'm looking for something that hopefully is not gooey and messy to use. I've used a 3m Plastic Emblem adhesive in small amounts, which is clear and it *might be a candidate, but thought I'd see if anyone had a good experience with something specific.

Thanks -john

No adhesive is needed.

Thanks, I'll give it a try without, BUT it looks like the end pieces might need adhering with something, not sure. This is aftermarket trim which I hope is not inferior.

Mine is one piece from end to end. You may want to use something like contact adhesive or weather trim adhesive to secure the two end pieces.
