Hi all just dropped the engine out my new Canada standard June 1957. The engine doesn't have a identity code stamped under the 1432 firing order area. The casing stamp is 13 3 28 which I think is 13th March shift 2 1958 which means this engine isn't original to the car. Can anyone verify this ? Also stamped is number 36 on the under side. I'm thinking this could be a later engine or recon? It also had a zwitter fuel pump on it! Or maybe a CKD engine ?
