Held at Piedmont Dragway near Greensboro, NC. All VW Car Show, Drag Racing and Swap meet. All models air and watercooled welcome. Camping available at track.
Hours 8am-5pm
$15 Spectator admission (12 & under free).

Big Bug Shootout is coming up fast! What's a VW show without a swap meet? Clean out that stash of VW parts you have been collecting and make some cash! April 8th is the date and Piedmont Dragway is the place.

Only 2 weeks away! Are you ready for the Season Opener for SEVWA! Piedmont Dragway near Greensboro, NC April 8th.

Pre-show parking and camping will be allowed, but we will have to wait until the Grudge race is over on Saturday night. You may park outside the gate and wait until we can enter or just stay there until the morning when the gates open at 8am.
We have some special prizes for the event. All you have to do is bring your the other half of your gate ticket to the registration table and put it in the door prize bucket. Drawing will be at 1pm at the registration table.
Carolina Dune Buggies will be giving away a Front Beam Value $373.25. Plus (4) $50 Off $100 Purchase certificates. Plus Monkey Nut Vintage VW will have a Vintage Speed-11.5" Classic style look shifter for VW BUG, Karmann Ghia and Type 3. _________________ Kathy Jacobs

Since the racing event on saturday has been cancelled due to weather, will there still be inside overnight camping on saturday night for the vw people? _________________ thebucket: I invested in hoodride, now DBD won't return my call?

Yes Sir! 7pm or later, which should give this rain time to pass.
Weather is looking great for Sunday. High around 60 and Sunny.
Gates open at 8am Admission $15
(Show and Race fees are to be paid at Registration table)
Racing starts at Noon
Show registration ends at Noon
If you haven't pre-registered, no worries, you can do it at the event. Please let us know at the table if you have pre-registered or not.
Our special prizes will be awarded at 1:30 at the registration table, so be sure to put your other half of the gate ticket in our bucket at the table to be eligible for the drawing.
If you pre-ordered an event shirt, be sure to stop by our shirt table and let them know you pre-ordered and your name. If you didn't order one, better get yours early before we sell out. We also have some past event and Tour Shirts available for purchase.
TONIGHT, if you wish to come camp or setup your swap space/race pit, come after 7pm. We will collect Sunday's fees from you as you arrive.
