This question is really to help me fit a gas tank in the back of my Berry Mini-T beach buggy.
What is the opening size in the Bug body for the fuel tank? I'm hoping some people out there have their fuel tank out and can easily get easily get the body opening size for both the 1961 up and for the 1960 and older style tank.
Thanks! _________________

After searching forever I found the opening size for the 1961 up Bugs, 693mm by 368mm. It would be great if someone could find the size for the 1960 down body style, I know the 368mm dimension is slightly less because years ago I saw someone try to drop a later tank in an old Bug.

Wow, the hole in the body for the early tank is quite a bit smaller. It is about 1/2 inch narrower and about 2 inches less deep. I know what tank I'm looking for. Thank you Flyboy! _________________
