1953 Weird grab handle coat hook

Are these common for 1953? They came with a box of other parts and marked "1953 Weird interior". I think he said they came from a split window and are rare.

"Coat hooks" they were in ovals as well. There are a ton of them for sale in the classifieds

Those aluminum hooks were used till the end of the 1960 model. In 1961, VW started using plastic hooks.

Nice to see the original hardware still intact too

the small hook sits on the right rear, behind the rear seat. The rear seat back has a rubber strap that stretches onto this hook... those grab straps look to be for an oval.

Going back 20-25 years with fragile memory, those assist loops/coat hooks and the rear seat hook look very much like the ones that were in my 12/52 Zwitter.
