LOL Everett... Good eye.
But no you don't. Let me give you a walk around with words, to save your eyes.
It's a chopped and shortened split with cut wheel wells and a crane welded into the back to lift stuff. Dents and scratches on every panel, custom bumpers of steel. Only saving grace is the guy uses it to push stuff around and move stuff around so at least he uses it all the time.. And it's not for sale. :/ _________________ '71 Deluxe Bus - http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=659421&highlight= |

Now that is my kind of Bus!! We used to call them "dinosaurs" at the yard I used to work at. Slow, dented, and out of date. Yet very useful. I would love to see more pictures. _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

Brought this '68 home yesterday. Has had a rough life but is original paint and was last licensed in 1986. Does anyone know m code 091? I can't find anything on it. It does have a b4 eberspacher laying in it and the eberspacher gas cap cover.

Absolutely. Looks like a few in the front, too. _________________ nothing |

I guess Minnesota is more of a "war zone" than I once imagined.

Certainly no more than Portland, OR.
Remember, these were just crappy old cars 10-20-30 years ago. If it was stuffed back along the windrow of the farmer's field, it was fair game for sighting in the deer rifle before hunting season. Nobody gave a shit that it was an old VW, cuz it was just an old VW. _________________ nothing |

Only on the East side.

Same with MN. The East side is full of commandos and heathens. The West half is much more gentrified. _________________ nothing |

74 or later. ask for the 3rd number of the VIN on the dash. that will tell you what year in the 70s it was made. |

I just found this 69 deluxe in Oklahoma. It was OG paint and pretty solid so I picked it up. Someone used the motor and trans for a dune buggy in the 90’s. I got a rear bumper for it but noticed the brackets are too short as they don’t quite reach the the holes in the frame. Anyhow are there two different kinds of rear bumper brackets on early bays?

Great looking bus!
Are the brackets adapted to fit the bay bumper to a split bus? _________________ nothing |
