after years of hibernation (read: divorce and starting over)

i have a bug again
i got him in july this last year as a painted shell with a new wiring harness that was run end to end but no connections made.

i got the car for a steal it will be a 10 at 10' no problem.

the paint is a light metallic turquoise.
i was looking for something i could paint but then i saw this and it was love at first sight

i redid the interior myself. including headliner install and aluminum window trim with the help of chris vallones videos< youtube and a few local friends the back window went in .

the pan was rotisseried and coated with POR
new brakes all around + front disc
engine will be a MOFOCO built 2276 mated to a transmission from MOFOCO aswell .

it has sway away adjusters and also a kafer brace
drop spindles and adjustable beam in front.
rear end needs to come up an inch or so still .

its so close to driving i can taste it!

It's a 10 all right! That is a really classy color. The wheels are an awesome match for it.

Adapter brackets that mount '67-earlier bumpers to '68-later cars.

If you also add '67-earlier fenders that don't have the bumper bracket slots you may need different brackets. This page shows all the conversion items for bumpers.

Yes, I’ve seen those. It mentions not to use them with the over-rider style bumpers as it doesn’t have the required supports. I’m assuming this is up for debate...
