Running a set of 44 dellortos, My air filters rub the decklid on my 56 but not on my 63. Is the only way around this to run standoffs(top or bottom style), short air cleaners or run just velocity stacks? |

You could buy short manifolds...or use a foam air cleaner over your stacks

Thanks, I've never seen those before, I think at this point I'll run the CB billet velocity stakes with the mini filter tops, I was just curious as to why sometimes it seems like i see some pictures of cars where they fit, some where they don't. My linkage even rubs, but I'm changing that to the vintage speed push pull style.
BTW... did you ever sell your car? It seemed like a fair price, even considered contacting you about it, but i really wanted a ragtop. |

Yes, I sold it. I will regret it eventually, as I've only seen a few that matched it. The asking prices on the site are ridiculous compared to reality.
There are many different manifold options out there that impact the clearance with the decklid, and linkages as you've seen. |
