I would say mine look like the #3 option third from the left in the pic. So that means mid 62 to 67.
I went ahead and stuck one of the bows on the split bus and its really tall for the splitty roof. It fit perfectly on the gutter though.

Hmm, they look more like the shorter 62-67 split clamps to me, but maybe I am wrong.
This is supposed to be a bay clamp (the only one I have). They are larger than split clamps

Crap, you are right, I looked at the photo too quickly and though the Split Bus ones didn't have the little dimple at the top.
The nut should be inside the clamp so that part is reversed? _________________ How to Post Photos

Yes they are backwards and I looked closely to find that the nuts are brass and the screws appear to be chromed.

Does anyone know who presently sells a full-length Westy or "Westy-looking" rack? I have done my research, but seems like most (if not all) of the previous sellers / builders of these have either stopped making racks altogether or are just making the shorter 2,3 and 4 row ones. Thanks to everyone in advance!

After a 3 years hunt I finally found a set of original westy clamps (cheers Tony) for my baywindow rack. All I need now is the right hardwear. Does anybody have pics and specs of the original bolts and nuts? Are they the same as for split - DIN 85, 50s style cheese head machine bolts and DIN 557 square brass nuts or is the baywindow hardware different?

Somebody who once owned an original baywindow westy rack, just told me it had galvanized M6 bolts with hexagonal galvanized nuts, washer on each side? He is pretty sure, that that was the orininsl set up. Can anyone verify that? _________________ Westfalia Helsinki 6/77
