my 1960 bus turn signals don't work, turn signal light on dash comes on ok

I bet the bulb(s) is/are burned out.

checked bulbs, they're ok so the turn signals and brake lights don't work, turn signal light comes on but doesn't flash, help my 1960 vw bus

Check the fuse (should be one fuse in from one of the ends of the fuse box), and check that you are getting power to one side of the brake light switch.

If you are getting power in both places and it doesn't work yet, try shorting around the brake light switch. If the brake lights still don't come on, I'd suspect something funny in the turn signal switch itself. Although I really doubt it is the switch because the indicator does come on.

often it helps to clean up the grounds as well.
and clean where the wires connect to the fixtures.
and clean where the bulbs connect to the fixtures.

I apply diabolical grease to keep the demons out of the wires. Also known as bulb grease.
