I just purchased 4 new Hancook 185/70 LT RA 18 - 14” tires on eBay. For $348 shipped. I got them in 3 days. Sure that is a great price but even better; I took them to my local Costco and they took the old tires off, inflated with nitro, installed new stems, mounted and balanced them all for $60 including tire disposal charge. The poor bastards had to use floor jacks to do the job and it took about 2 hrs. but I was pleased. One of the wheel studs was buggered and they had a chase nut to dress it up.

Hard to beat that. I tried to tip them but nooooo.

I dunno if thats the same outfit i got my hankooks for for urkelgrue, but when busdepot was having the great tire shortage and was advertising the hankooks for 99 but when you tried to buy the price was 139 due to the "shortage", i got 5 off of ebay for i think 425 or somethign like that, shipped for free, and when i checked the date code they were only 6 months old.

(i had been concerned i was going to be getting 2 or 3 year old tires, but, nope, really new)

There are a ton of tire threads here to review if you want to.
In short, yes.
I had some craptastical passenger tires on the bus when I got it, and it was like driving on marshmallows. The Hankooks were a huge improvement, to the point that my oldest yanks my chain that the bus is not an F1 car. It's now about 30k miles later, and it's still the same

I wicked lucked out. Searched Craigslist and found 4 brand new Conti Vanco's mounted on stock rims within 5 miles of my house. $200 cash, that was awesome!
