I have read about the engine running cool and that it could run with a type 1 cooler, I am installing mine in an early double cab so went with a type 4 cooler since it will be working harder than in a bug.

Hi Mile,
Double Cab, yipes. Forget the 90 c thermostat run a 80c or none at all and wire the flaps open. . In a light car it runs cool. In a bus don't worry you will reach running temp. A T4 will out perform a T-1 in an early bus, but that is a heavy vehicle. Don't overload it , I have a lot of bug conversion customers,
a double cab is classic car. This is not the 60's where buses are all over the place, drive it like a classic and enjoy the smiles and paycheck if you ever decide to sell it.

Last night Saw the Barrett Jackson Auction -- Double Cab went for 60K

Red and black with sides dropping rear bed, that was something they really liked for being unusual.

Be nice to it!!!!!!!!

The rule here in the U.S. is the number referred to the ID is the INSIDE DIA. -- if it is 3/8" Pipe the ID is 3/8" 1/2" pipe the ID is 1/2 " .. Logically that is that is the most important number..

For flow of liquid and gases. Makes it easy.
