Well, that's one way to lower a bug. Put about 30 gallons of Bondo on the roof.

Nobody will ever notice....

What is the thought behind that? More headroom?

So now instead of just pillow top mattresses, we have pillow top bugs!

This would actually look good if they had kept the stock Beetle nose on it rather than trying to make it look like a '40 Ford (I don't think they're fooling anyone).

Looks like quality work on the woodie part.

That is SMOKIN' HOT! I would roll the slats off that!

I think that's the first curved windshield super I've seen done as a woodie. The car looks very well done....and from personal experience ( I have two), its a blast at a mixed make show when guys walk up and "oh yeah, that's one of those English Fords." Laughing And, those of us that build these are not trying to fool anyone - its about the look and we do it for ourselves. Cool

The one area that is a REAL bitch is to get the roof/windshield transition and they did a real good job.

Still going back and forth mentally on this one....Lots of really nice work....I'm just not sure....There is something that doesnt quite work for me...but can't put my finger on it....Front end? I dunno...Yeah - thats it...Ass end is really cool, but the front puts me in mind of a led sled...Like two different things going on.
