Can someone tell me how to take these plug wires apart?
They are marked "Hypalon 7mm ignition cable"
I am trying to remove the wires from the tube.
Thanks.

OK,
I just twisted it counterclockwise and it came out of the connector. |

Yes, they unscrew as you found out.
Normally you might want to test them with a multimeter to verify they have 1000 ohms of resistance but I can't read those ones to see if they are marked with a resistance value on the end. |
These are marked "Germany" could these be the originals that came with the car? They seem to be in very good shape if they are 61 years old. |

They could be but you could buy those ends new too - I used to have a bunch of NOS ones - you can see them in the lower left of this old photo

Curious, for what purpose are they used for ? Cars with radios?

Aren't the other side crimped? |
The other sides are crimped.
Much easier to unscrew plug end. |
