Hi i'm in the process of swapping my 2.1wasserboxer for a subaru ez30D 2001 and i can't seem to find info on how to adapt the harness for the vanagon.
Ive seen for all the other subaru engine exept for H6.
Even if a will figure it by my self ( as an aicraft mechanic for 23 yrs i'm very resourceful ) it woud be nice to have couple hits and a pin out chart for the ecu.
I want to also install the subaru cruise control onto my westy at the same time.
If you guys have info on this please feel free to comment.
Thanks

I don't have the pinout info, but your fellow Canadian Tom shiels does.

Just Google tom shiels Subaru wiring harness.

Help! Need info as to how to connect Vanagon front and rear heater hoses and coolant fill tank to Subaru H6 3.0L engine heater hose connectors.!

Presently I have the coolant fill reservoir in parallel with the heater hoses and the flow of hot coolant to the front heater is extremely marginal/slow!

Awesome thread...

2 questions:
I'm stuffing a 3.6 in my 86 Wolfie "shed".
Will be using the RMW mountbar.

Will the 3.0/3.6 take the same mounts and steel mount plates as the 2.5?
The "square" earlier mounts seem to be greatly preferred, perhaps even the group N versions.

question#2: who makes (or made) this 3.0/3.6 header shown earlier in thread???
I have an Evil Plan to modify an existing common header for a flat 6, but if somebody is actually making one that fits that would be preferred.
