So the burning question is will the fat rat see his shadow? Hard to believe this tradition dates back to 1887, folks must have really been bored to cook this up. Might be fun though to wake up early drink some Irish coffee dance a polka to honor a rodent... Very Happy I’m thinking more cold Weather.

They must be pretty smart, to be able to spell "Punxsutawney". And to get national attention and news coverage for a few hours every year. Bet that fills the hotels and restaurants up.

For as stupid as this tradition is I read it has about an 80% accuracy rate.

Here in Ontario, -12 and sunny where I am, Wiarton Willie saw his shadow forecasting 6 extra weeks to get my car fixed lol.

Which is about 400% more accurate than most meteorologists.
