Hi Everyone,

Do you have any good recommendations for top assist on a 1999 Eurovan?

I'm getting into my 50's and the top is just tough to push up. I have a cargo box with a few things, but it was never easy even without the cargo box.

Do I need to replace the regular struts too?

Anyway, I look for any recommendations that you may have.

Best regards,

Miquel

Well...I have not gotten there yet myself, but I know others have...

These options come to mind:

I think there is an option from Bus Depot also? Though I could not pull it up real quick...I think some searching will find it.

Good luck!

Are you leaving a window or door open when you lift? There is a lot of suction on mine

Yeah, door is open but still lots weight. Also, the moment you crack it a little bit open, you should not have any more suction as the whole top is breaking vacumm, but even then it’s ptetty hard.
