That's insane.
From the ad:
"There is also a small dent/scrape on sliding door."
Right.
And seller apologizes for crappy quality images but I have seen this before; sellers posting images that look like vaseline was smeared on the camera lens. IMO, I'd suggest they are using something in the image editing app (Rust Blur ™ ?) to blur images in an effort to hide something or "down play" whats being shown or intentionally set camera to VGA quality or something like that to do same.
Based upon what I see in the ad, the seller is of a generation that would have a fairly recent model of smart phone and would know how to use it. i.e. using it would be 2nd nature to them. Even a less than $100 phone would have at least 5 MP camera.

Looks more like a scan of a picture taken with an old Kodak Instamatic. I have plenty of old camping pictures from the 70's that look just like this. |

Can car seats be properly mounted to jumpseats? That seems totally sketchy to me |

You are correct. It is neither safe, nor legal to a mount car seat (rear or forward faced) on a rear faced jump seat. While I'm a Canadian tech, I've heard/read enough on this to simply say it's not safe, and not allowed anywhere I know of.
It's very safe for an older/larger child, or adult to sit there. Here, most places have a 9 year old and/or 4ft 9in minimum to be with out a booster. You can't legally put a booster seat there either, again, anywhere I know of...

There was a full pop top with roof section for sale on CL on the west side of Dallas last week for $250. (I have a brother there who has a truck. Easy win.)
Called, texted, emailed, got no response.
The very same pop top just showed up on Facebook on the east side of Dallas for $1600.
Can't really blame somebody for trying to make a quick profit, but damn. _________________ Joe T.

This is a 1985 vw volks wagon vanagon. This is a custom built expedition van. As you can see in the pics. The car does have a salvage title with no prior accidents or damage. When I purchased The van was stripped but was fine with me since I was going to build it myself.the engine was swapped with a 2.5 Subaru engine . Very quick car . Please contact me if you have any questions. |
I'm not whining about this one...I'm not sure what I'm doing, or how I'm feeling, about this one.
Perhaps it belongs in another thread. Perhaps it deserves its own thread. _________________ Eric

Wow, it appears to be well-executed. The dude in the bunk creeps me out, though. _________________ Joe T.

He comes with the van.
It seems like it is extremely heavy. And if the roof is loaded with gear the COG has to be scary. |

I like it. Looks like he might have adapted a Fiberine roof to fit. _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |

What more do you need? Looks like it's parked in Ballard, probably facing west, and it has newer alloys, maybe from a Passat. Jeez, you guys can be picky sometimes. _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |
