I really liked the idea started by Earl 78 Westy about compiling a list or a thread to help support each other.
I can start. I'm a graphic designer who works in the printing industry. I do freelance on the side along with printmaking.
Here is a link to my instagram
www.instagram.com/bluepineapplestudio/
Also here is my personal design portfolio
https://www.behance.net/aschreiber
Feel free to e-mail me [email protected] for design and commissions.
Lets get this going and help each other out when we can! |

Hmmmm.....I own one of the best telephone answering services around...Not the cheapest, but we charge a competitive rate. We do emergency service, order desk, dispatch services, appointment scheduling, virtual receptionist, etc for almost any type of business.
We can provide a local phone number anywhere in the US. We currently have clients in CA, FL, VA, MA, CT, PA, NY, NJ, OH....and I think a few other states.

I've never known anyone to use those except Doctors. It's nice to see those around as all of the technology has made everything a bit less personable. I've got my phone system in the cloud. You can do anything with a computer except have them answer your phone like a human. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]

OMG - We started ACE in 94. Obviously I have a shitload of Drs and hospitals, but I have building contractors, heating and cooling, plumbers, Roto-rooters, property management, towing, taxis, attorneys, cleaning companies, carpet cleaners, counselling services, electrical contractors, elevator companies, fire/water resto, funeral homes, gas well monitoring, caterers, landscapers, public broadcast stations (ya know those fund raisers? Nobody is in the studio at 11 PM)..almost any business you can imagine....I sell blacksmithing tools for a guy in Italy....
I have it for my shop...They screen solicitors, etc. And can reach me for customer calls no matter where I am during the times I specify. Like having a 24/7 secretary.
I have about a quarter mil in equipment and a killer staff of about 20...Everyone is full time with nice benefits.....Most of my staff has been with me over 10 years...
BUT I can only drive a desk so long, so I am pretty much retired and play with cars in my shop most of the time... _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

This is my line of work as well, although I work for an evil global conglomerate. And Kawfee, we use an answering service like the one andk5591 owns. Pretty much any line of work with field service technicians or 24 hour service does....

I sell material handling equipment. If you're building a rotisserie, engine stand or cart, I can sell you better casters than the shit you find at big box stores. We also do shelving, carts and safety equipment. I can ship anywhere, direct from the factory in most cases. I would, of course, cut VW people a deal.
...most VW people.

Hmm.. interesting.. already helped a couple guys out on here with decals for their buggies. 23 year veteran of the sign industry, which changes on almost a daily basis here. Self employed, and I'm the only one here. You call the number, you get me. Don't know what I can offer anyone over the net other than decal orders or possibly a sign design if you're opening a shop somewhere...

Well, to keep it going.
I am Jim of Jim Was Here, Incorporated. I run a handyman company with two full time employees. We tackle every type of construction need there is. From building ground up residences, to full repipes, to complete house rewiring, full kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels and all the way down to hanging one picture for the little old lady in the retirement home that called. She could not find anyone to hang one picture for her. The wife returned her call, (she is the office manager, outside of being a full time Realtor) and set me up to visit her to hang one picture. This little old lady was grateful for, 1.) answering the phone, 2.) showing up on time and 3.) taking care of what she wanted.
So, we do everything! The cartoon guy I use for my identity on this site is actually the logo for the business! Been drawing that behind cabinets, in attics and behind drywall for 42 years, since I was 5 , except for the 11 years I drew it in engine compartments or under the hood!
If you know anyone in Huntington Beach that needs help with their home, please reccomend me. Thank you! _________________ Jimbo

Edited my post. My mistake for trying to be a nice guy. I thought we all tried to help each other out on this site. Sorry. _________________ Jimbo

No coupon. The man wants me to be unknown, even though I believe I read, lets support these businesses. Go figure. Maybe I misunderstood or misread something.
You were drawing my Grandfather. When he and his 4 serving brothers (there were seven of them), walked across Europe in 1944, they would look for Kilroy as a sign that other GIs had been through this area. They brought that back home with them. fI grew up drawing that cartoon in back of the Kitchen sink base cabinet, with my father and who ever else was on site. I am the last working male in my family, I still draw that cartoon and remember those days that have past, to get me to where I am now. It has been a great inspiration to be able to draw Kilroy, somewhere! I still have 28 more years to contiue drawing that cartoon!
Grandpa is still alive, 95. I will let him know that you recognized him. Funny part is he has a full head of hair still! But the nose is about the right size!! _________________ Jimbo

You are free to post a coupon or business info but:
1. It's not a VW-related image so it shouldn't be posted in the VW/Porsche Gallery here.
2. If it's on your web site you can control it/edit it/remove it, if needed.
You can't do that if it's posted here.
I saw you had a web site in the image you posted so post a link to the image from your own website. This is best. _________________ How to Post Photos

I think maybe you did. If you posted your coupon in the Gallery, it got removed because the gallery is for VW related pictures only. In the beginning people were choking it up with all sorts of random crap and it needed to stop. The problem with having a rule is that it has to be fairly and evenly enforced. If not, then all hell breaks loose again.
You're not the only person who has had pics removed from the gallery. It's happened to me and many others too.
He's not saying you cannot post your coupon. He is saying it can't be hosted in the site gallery. That's it. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.
