Moderator, if this is in the wrong forum, please move it to the correct one.
Just picked up these Westy poles, bag and some guy wires/ropes. Guy I bought them from said he sold the tent about 6 months ago (San Diego area), said he did not remember the tent having a bottom.
Could these actually be Big Top tent (SO42) poles and bag, or is it most likely they are Bay Window Drive Away tent?
Any help identifying these would be appreciated.

Looks like Bay. Any signs of chains anywhere? |

Barry,
Where would I look for chains?
Do you think the bag is original and also Bay? _________________ Turbo_g

If the topic had "tent" in it anywhere- Clara and Campingbox would have already provided all necessary info. _________________

Looks like bay westy tent poles.
The chains mentioned above would indicate a split window era set. They would be connecting some of the poles together. Meaning you could un button the poles, slip them apart, but they would still remain linked together. I don't see any chains in those photos. |

Thanks, no chains or chain remnants.
Could the bag or stake bag be split, or all bay? _________________ Turbo_g

Could be. My '68 Bay pole bag is blue. |

The stripped bag looks more like the size and shape of a split tent bag rather than a pole bag. _________________ Oil Capital Air Cooled

Yes the bag is way too small for poles...I think it's too small for a drive away tent too. _________________ Turbo_g
