hey Folks!
I was contacted by a neighbor about some VW stuff, old parts leftover from a grandfathers past hobby.
Looks like beetle items, best guess from the manual I found it was a 67 beetle.
Mix of spare fenders, door, hood, 2 deck lids, bumpers, back window, 3 buckets of parts, nuts bolts, even the old wire harness, seatbelts, various nuts/bolts, headlights and various assy's, old electrical items.
You know, the crap you never throw away!
Currently I don't know anyone with a 67' (and that's just a guess cause I found a owners manual with 67' written on it).
So I thought i'd ask you folks as I know some of you have more than one car.
I bought about 20bucks worth of some items but the stuff's located in the Bumpass, Va area.
From the discussions I'm not sure the owners really want to muck with shipping.
If anyone's interested let me know and I can post the few photos I took of the stuff and get you in contact with the owners.
I'd like to see the stuff go to a good home, hate to see original parts get trashed just to get rid of them.
Anyways, if anyone knows someone in the Richmond/Charlottesville/Fredricksburg / Virginia area willing to pickup pass the word please.
Ballpark about 12miles West up Rt33 out from Montpelier, Va in Hanover Co.
Thanks yall!

That’d be a good entry (Ahem addition) for my funny/weird “signs” thread.

I'm glad yall love the name of the place.
Locals say Bump-ass!
Funny story, a local radio station back in the early 90's [XL102] used to play a song that its main lyric was "We live, we live, in Bumpass", it was sung to Queens, "We will rock you". everybody always got a laugh when they played that one.
I'm supposed to ride over this weekend and pickup the parts I wanted.
Not had anyone mention any intrest yet in anything, i'll advise if the owners get close to going to the trash.
PM me if you want any photos, I took a few general pics of the stuff in the shed but I'm sure I can get more if needed.
