Looks great! More pictures of the rear end assembly and some frame build. Clean set up.

The tranny is from a front wheel drive Audi A4 or fwd be Passat, the nice thing about these transmission s is some of them use the 108 mm drive flange (Porsche 930), they are not super high geared, and almost any Porsche vw or Audi engine from the 90's wheel bolt right up, no adapter plate needed. I originally intended to use a Audi 2.7 by turbo, but after looking over the wiring diagram I chickened out and went with the 2.8 v6 sohc version of the 2.7 out of a 93 Audi 90. As far as turbocharging it I found two turbos off of 1.8 turbo Passat, plummed in the turbos with a 20 dollar eBay blow off, now it screams. It doesn't like pump gas but 100 octane runs just fine at 6 psi of boost. |

The rear frame and transmission are so simple and robust. Well done and great idea. Mid-engine build out of a front wheel drive set-up.

I'da thought with those paddles, an open diff wouldn't matter... _________________ 4 seater Appletree buggy, road legal with 002 IRS, 3x3 Appletree kit, 6" over Dan's beam with 10" towers and Fox 2.0 shocks, '00 Subaru EJ25 with KEP stage 3 clutch and KEP adapter plate.

I think I would have put some triangulation the rear of the roof section at least - it'll fold up if some hits you in traffic or you roll, it's all rectangular sections. |

Nice build....yah, I'm just over a year on my build and have over close to 200 pix. ...would really like to see some detailed pics of the engine and hear about more of the engine specs.
