so this should be a 59? no stock blinkers, so semaphore bus, and it does not have pressed bumpers. 60 would have had blinkers _________________ regards

Could be a high hinge 61. I think they used semaphores until they lowered the hinges.
I can just see the sunroof.
Interesting that they took off the emblem, and lost one front bumper trim.
no pass mirror. I don't think deluxes got them. Which is fine, as you are in a fish bowl. Until you change lanes and there is a Miata there too short to see. |

i think sixty was the cutoff. My 12/59 was a 60 model and had semaphores. 61s had blinkers. _________________ regards

That shot looks a bit chaotic, cars, busses, trucks, bicyclists, pedestrians, safe zones, stop signals, crossing zones...all coming and going, but it does look like it works...

Looks like a hose reel for a fuel/water tank. That big top hatch would tend towards a water tank setup. _________________ nothing |

May be just delivering it. Iffin it was a permanent set up I'd guess the gates would be off it, much like a fire or ladder truck and such. _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

That would make good sense, since it does not look like it actually fits the bed well. Probably designed to slide into a standard truck bed or something. _________________ nothing |

Looks like an aviation fuel Bowser to me, the hatch is for draining wing tanks into as well as inspection of the tank on the trailer. I suspect it's being delivered. Here's a modern version:

Something is under the tank, too, so maybe the frame and wheels. |
