You could download this .pdf and put it on a cd or device if you liked. Would be kind of annoying because it still may be a tad annoying to get to a certain page compared to an actual physical book. Idk if anyone has made an e-book version of it.

I have a 98 Beetle manual on CD for my TDI power plant. I have a paper manual for the vanagon. The manual on CD sucks. In my opinion, a paper book is the better way, especially when troubleshooting electrical and engine management. You can set a paper manual anywhere.

I like both; belt and suspenders.
The version linked above appears to be a pirated scan; helpful perhaps, but lacking the ability to search via keyword, etc..

Yeah it is definitely pirated, would be quite the project to properly create it into an Ebook. But its better than nothing if you don't have a bentley at all. |

Bentley is kind of a sketchy outfit. I have several Audi manuals on CD, and they've been a major PITA to deal with. So much so, that I've given up trying to access the one I have for our Quattro. Thankfully it's been so reliable over the last 12 years that this hasn't been much of an issue. Meanwhile, I bought a paper manual for our old B4 Passat TDI, but I found that it was missing several sections, so they sent me a CD to make up the difference; same issues as with the Audis. Now I have a 2001 Eurovan, but their paper manuals only go up to the 1999 models, so do I buy the CD version? Eff no!

I just took a quick pass at that and it was pretty ugly. Worse than the PDF.
If I could locate a decent book scanner, I'd sacrifice my copy to the process.

I've thought about doing it at my university, and organizing the pdfs into folders with corresponding chapters then subchapters... I dont know where I could upload it.
Also not sure of how illegal it would be lol |

I bought a pdf from an online manual site.
Keep it on my reader for browsing in the house.
Then had it printed and coil bound.
I like I better than the hard cover ‘cause I can fold it flat.
That’s just my preference though.

And I’m no technology Luddite. I’d prefer a digital version for keyword search and zoom.
But never again.
Buy a Bentley and have fedex cut the binding and put it in a 3 ring binder.

| So I think that if you have adobe acrobat even the 2$/mo you can convert the pdf file to a microsoft word file, from there if you just reuploaded it you could use the control+f function to search key words. I think I'm going to confirm with adobe tomorrow when I have free time then maybe take this route. |
