Anybody know whether i'm suppose to use a nut or something else to keep this emblem in place?

Thanks.

Is it a two piece deal?

Mine is... I used nuts + washers to attach the emblem/base/seal to the nose

Hi, it's one piece. Meaning both are already attached to the emblem. So you suggest nuts and washer? I guess now just need to find the nut size.

What size nut did you use?

Thanks all. I guess I'll get off my lazy butt and bring this piece to my local home depot or ace hardware and search for the nut/washer.

Home depot wont have jack.
My Ace is a tiny little downtown old brick building. They have more metric than home schlepo and Lowes combined

Yup. "Ace is the Place..."

You can also use those spring steel 'speed nuts' on the studs. I believe that KGPR sold them as part of a mounting kit for the emblem. Small nuts & washers will work too. Bring the emblem with you to make sure you get the right size and be careful screwing stuff onto those studs. That metal is pretty soft...

If you always used just one size metric nut to fasten things down, then you could remember the size as easily as you remember that you have oatmeal for breakfast every day.

Smile
