I am trying to figure out how to mount my dash pad purchased from CIP1 to my dash. It has no pins or dowels that pokes thru any holes on the dash. I don't want to glue it on as there's a speaker in the center of the dash that may need to be replaced some time in the future.
Also, what is everyone doing to hold down the carpet? I'm about to buy a new set of carpet but isn't there a layer of jute that goes over the pans then the carpet? Do i eliminate the jute and glue it straight to the pans? Glue the jute down to the pans then glue the carpet to the jute???
Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

There is this thing called Gravity Wink
There is a screw hole on each side up high on the A pillar. that will hold it side to side. Your grab handle will hold it down tight against the top.

Carpet, I put down a couple layers of Rattletrap

Then a layer of alum backed jute and 3M spray glue on back of carpet.

If your car is a driver that may sit out in rain at times, I wouldn’t glue directly to floor. I got a roll of closed cell foam , then cut to fit and glued the carpet to that. The foam keeps it from sliding and eliminates more road noise. If(when 🙄) the car leaks some water, you can pull the carpet and easily dry it out.
