I drove a 68 Plymouth Satellite 2dr hardtop as my winter beater through high school. Both of my sisters had already taken a bunch of life out of it before I got my hands on it. That slant six would not die. I did not change the oil. Ever. I only added oil as it burned and leaked in seemingly equal amounts. Started at -20 degrees in MN winters. Never left me stranded, never overheated, never got stuck in the snow. I hated that car then. I am fond of it now.
Front brakes started to fail, and dad was not interested in spending any money on it. I felt the same. He sold it for $35! the engine went into a Volare and kept on rollin'! _________________ nothing |

Had one of these in my driveway for a few days back in August. Got to take it for an evening spin. 50-105 and back to 50 happens unbelievably quickly. The loud button on the console makes it that much better.

That is one sexy beast. |
Man, it really is. It has one of the best car asses I have ever seen. It is a wonderful, and an extremely, wonderfully, impractical car. And damn fun to drive! _________________ nothing |

WITNESS!!! Saturns last gasp. One of only 30,000 made.
Hardly a car that is super, but with the turbo package it clocks in at 300hp... so technically a “super car”. |

Was behind a '70-ish Jaguar E-Type vert this mornin'
Got a quick, crappy pic at a stoplight
It was in great shape, the spots are from my dirty windshield.
Unusual design for the rear, don't see a whole lot of tail lights below the bumper. |

The Divco would be cool if it still had the "Stand and Drive" installed.

Been off this site for a while. Love me some Divcos! As for the Chrysler 225 slant six - the "leaning tower of power" - they were the reason you saw Darts and Valiants on the road for so long. They literally rusted apart around the engine. Don't forget about the 170 and 198 c.i. versions! _________________ '69 SingleCab

That's Christie Lee's car! From the Bob and Tom show. Makes her even that much cuter. _________________

This one has been hot-rodded with a 455 Toronado driveline. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Sunday was a nice day at the cliffs so lots of people Cruz the cliffs in their cars. I saw a 68 convertible GTO, 68 convertible Camero and a cool chopped hot rod. Sorry, no pictures. _________________ Prosit!
