I had problems making my 1950 3 fold top out of black canvas... you seem to have made a beauty

Oh no I didn't make it, my upolster guy Manual made it. I original purchased an ACME Stafast canvas replacement from WCM., But it didn't line up right, the seams were way out of wack,so I returned it, the only other choice was another ACME top with an un known wait time...so Manual has been making tops for older American classics for quite some time, so he insisted he make mine using the old top as a pattern, I have seen his work..and allowed the process to happen..im pleased with how it looks...now to get the windows and frames back in..and id still be waiting for an 55/57 top

... better that an experienced pro hand made the top... he did a fantastic job... wouldda' been fantastic if you couldda' boasted being the maker... doesn't matter, looks sweet.

Way to go Tom! Looks very nice! I want a ride in that Kab one of these days, gotta get a long LAX layover!
I gotta ask, what is that shiny bracket just above the engine deck lid for? Some kind of accessory rear luggage rack? Also, how well does the top fold up and store in the retracted position? Photos of that someday, please! You should get your upholsterer to make you up a nice boot to cover the retracted top from the same material!

Yes to all the above, New boot, top down yes to luggage attachment mounting thingy, that last pic was before it was mine...I said no no no to all the accesories...
